Arlee Volunteer Grant
After several years of fundraising and planning, the Arlee Theater Board of Directors is thrilled to announce the launch of their Volunteer Appreciation Grant. Any former volunteer age 18 and over who has logged at least 80 hours of service with the theater is welcome to apply. Being entirely volunteer-run, the theater has a steady team of 12 weekly helpers and 15 additional substitutes who put in cumulatively over 3000 hours annually to provide affordable entertainment to the community.
While many volunteers start off as students who are earning hours required for graduation, most continue to work weekly shifts at the theater well after that requirement is met. The board recognizes the sacrifices the team sometimes makes, and wants to be able to help support them in their endeavors. This grant is intended to assist with expenses tied to enabling employment - including but not limited to repairing a vehicle to get to work, college books, enrollment fees in a trade/tech school, etc. The grant is only awarded once per person, and former volunteers remain eligible as long as they’ve not been awarded the grant previously, regardless of when their last volunteer shift has been. Applications are due no later than March 23, 2025.
Grant recipients will be limited and based on available funding. Applying does not guarantee award.
