Film Festival Seeking Entries
Arlee Theater to host short film festival

Community members and creators of all ages are invited to participate in a short film festival at the Arlee Theater on Friday, April 18 at 7 PM sharp.  There a small fee to participate (free for students), and funds from the event will be donated to the Arlee Volunteer Scholarship Fund. 

Entries must be 20 minutes or shorter, and are due by 11:59 pm on March 21, 2025.  All entries must be family friendly in nature, and filmmakers of all ages are eligible to participate.  Live action, stop motion, and animated shorts are all welcome. Previous participants are welcome to email their submission using the same method as previous years; new filmmakers will need to submit theirs through Film Freeway. Should a filmmaker wish to submit multiple entries, they are limited to no more than three entries totaling 20 minutes or fewer. Entries must be in .mp4 or JPEG2000 format; all entries will be converted to DCP in-house; should a filmmaker wish to have their converted piece returned in this format for future use, we would be happy to oblige upon request. By submitting a work, it is implied the individual providing the submission is the owner of the work and has the authority to grant license for the piece, and is extending that license to the Arlee for this event.
