The Polar Express Experience (December 20 & 21)
All Aboard the Polar Express!
Don your pajamas, slippers and housecoats and make the short trip to Mason City’s historic Arlee Theater to experience the magic of the Polar Express. Enjoy a viewing of the 2004 computer-animated fantasy film The Polar Express, based off the 1985 Chris Van Allsburg book by the same name.
The night of screening, see if you can spot Old Saint Nick himself, plus other Polar Express characters and collect a small souvenir from the event. Admission to The Polar Express Experience costs $13 and tickets are strongly encouraged to be purchased in advance, either online or at the concession stand during normal operating hours. Ticket includes admission, hot chocolate, a cookie, popcorn, and a special souvenir to remind you to just believe. The show will play at 7 PM on Friday December 20 (with open captions), at 1 PM on Saturday, December 21 and at 7 PM Saturday, December 21. Doors open 30 minutes prior to each show; early arrival is strongly encouraged.

As seating is limited, it is strongly encouraged that guests purchase tickets in advance, which can be acquired either by buying them online or at the concession stand in the weeks leading up to the event.
