While July 4 gets the bulk of the attention, July 2 is a date worth remembering- the date the 13 colonies voted in favor of their independence.  Two days later, the official public statement drafted by Thomas Jefferson was published to announce this separation.

To celebrate the first leg of this momentous period in history, the Arlee will be hosting a kid-friendly glow party on Thursday, July 2: a special 7pm showing of Toy Story 5 complete with dance party featuring patriotic music prior to the show, glow sticks & bracelets being given out, as well as other small prizes to give families a way to help get into the spirit of this country's birthday.  Admission for this event is generously paid for by the Mason County Community Foundation-- guests just need to stop by the box office to pick up a ticket the night of the show.  So, don your favorite red, white, and blue and come celebrate 250 years of independence with the Arlee!
