Logan Ramey: A Tribute To Elvis
Coming to the Arlee February 24
On Saturday, February 24 the Arlee will proudly feature Logan Ramey's Tribute to Elvis show. This live performance will feature the 19-year-old Chicago native as he performs a respectful set honoring one of the most iconic performers of the 20th century, the one and only Elvis Presley. Those who saw Logan perform a preview during River City Country Opry’s November show are well aware of why this award-winning tribute artist has a tendency to sell out shows across the midwest; even Elvis Presley's step-brother stated, "when I heard [Logan]... now if I close my eyes that's Elvis. It touched my heart. The only person I ever heard sing like that was my brother, and [Logan] was real close - SCARY, that's how close it was."
Logan first started performing professionally at ten years old, commenting “I started out doing Johnny Cash, but discovered Elvis and there was no turning back. I was drawn to Elvis at first because of his style. I loved his jumpsuits, I then started listening and fell in love with his music. I joined a contest in Branson for youth Elvis performers when I was ten. I wound up winning that and ever since then I have been hooked.”
Now at 19, Logan performs his show professionally, with hopes to join more Ultimate Elvis Preliminary Contests, aiming to make his way to the Championship in Memphis. He’s also developing a new show concept called the “Eras of Elvis” which will be a multimedia production including multiple costume changes, and will follow Elvis’s career from the 1950’s through the 70’s. Elements of this conceptual show will be incorporated with his performance at the Arlee on the 24th, and eventually the goal is for this to become a national touring event.
Tickets for Logan’s Tribute to Elvis show are now available at the Arlee concession stand during normal operating hours, at $15 each. Doors to the event will open at 6PM and remaining tickets will be available at the door; please note that the Arlee is a cash-only venue and plan accordingly. If you anticipate needing any accommodations for the show, please reach out to Arlee management in advance.
